Have you ever wondered why over the last few decades our federal government has become less and less responsive to the average American citizen? Why our presidents have been taking on more and more power that rightly belongs to Congress? Why we became involved in escapades like Iran Contra and Desert Storm? The reason why the lie of “weapons of mass destruction” led us into Iraq and more than 2 trillion dollars later and thousands of our own dead we are still there? Do you wonder why the government seems to be willing only to balance the budget at the cost of programs designed to help average citizens? Have you ever heard of the economic theory that George H.W. Bush rightly called “Voo-doo” economics, known as “supply side economics” or the “trickle-down” theory? Are you aware that statistics concerning average income, life expectancy and education in this country have become worse year after year for decades now?

There is a simple and single reason for this. Follow the money and the power. For decades one group has been working on plans to produce this result They include rich and powerful men (and most but not all of them are men) going back as far as the 1950’s and the John Birch Society, who could see that they did not have the political or regulatory power they wanted. Instead, they wanted to deprive the federal government of its power and take it for themselves.  Working through one political party, they have been able to take it over so that it only responds to them. In this year of 2026, the ultimate expression of their power is in office and average Americans are being accosted on the streets of our cities by government agents. Benefits for the people are being cut so that the rich may profit from enormous tax breaks.

You know what? We did this to ourselves. We voted for these folks expecting them to live up to their promises to us and when they didn’t, we kept on voting for them anyway. This book documents and explains it all. How the Republican Party became a wholly owned subsidiary of the rich and powerful. And it explains what to look for when you next vote if you wish to protect your right to a say in your own government.

Welcome to the ongoing debate concerning the existence or non-existence of God, and particularly in this case, the omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient personal God of the Christian faith. This book is a response (read rebuttal) to the book by Protestant minister Rice Broocks entitled “God’s Not Dead” and subtitled “Evidence for God in an Age of Uncertainty”. It demonstrates that Pastor Broocks has grossly exaggerated the description of his arguments as “evidence” when in fact they are no such thing.  Arguments such as the “fine tuning” of the universe and “irreducible complexity” are shown to be unworthy of being described as evidence in the light of clear reason. Other arguments such as the assertion that only with God can humans understand the concepts of good and evil are shown to be utterly unconvincing. In fact, it is shown that many of the points being made by the Pastor are simply preaching or, call it theology. To help understand how fragile is the theology being preached, a review of the four gospels of the Bible is set out. This book is not intended to deprive believers of their faith. It is intended to give non-believers and those who doubt or are curious a sound basis for not being hoodwinked by the Pastor’s book and his “evidence.” Believers are welcome, however.
